Day 8----------- Assignment is “something that makes you happy”………… If I did not have a husband that totally HATES having his picture taken, I would simply post a picture of him <3 ……… BUT since he does hate it, I will post the next best thing! This is something that my husband wrote on my phone awhile back, but it still warms my heart! By the way this was taken with my phone camera, so no judging allowed ;)

Day 5----------- Assignment is “the sun”……………When I was 18 I decided I wanted adventure and travel, so I packed my bags and traded the Land of Enchantment (New Mexico) for La Isla del Encanto/Island of Enchantment (Puerto Rico). Everything was so green and lush and alive and EXCITING!!!! I swore I would never live anywhere else ever again ESPECIALLY New Mexico. BUT I found myself missing something about the desert and it was our sunsets. I don’t think New Mexicans realize that not everyone in the world sees what we see at the end of every day. It cannot be beat!  Almost seven years, a college degree, a husband and A LOT more common sense later, I am back in the place I swore I would never be…….enjoying those sunsets that I once missed.

1st day of 365 Day Challenge = Total Success! Today’s assignment was to photograph a complete stranger. This proved to be a bit more difficult than expected, however I found a beautiful, young lady who was willing to be my model. Thank you to Rocio for helping me complete today’s challenge and not thinking I was a crazy lady when I randomly walked up to you on the street asking for your photo!

Tomorrow I begin my 365 Day Photography Challenge and I am super excited! Stay tuned!
